Shape the Future of Saint Paul Harbor:

Public Open House Meetings Begin October 2nd

Provide initial input on needs and priorities related to the harbor and its waterfront.

Saturday, October 3 from 4:00 -7:00 PM

Public Open House #2

Review the draft conceptual harbor and waterfront plans developed by the consultants and provide

your input.

All meetings to be held in the Rec Hall.

Canceled: St. Paul Community Reception at The Tavern - hosted by Rasmuson Foundation on Sept. 24th.

The Memorial Potluck for Miron will take place on Friday, October 2nd at 7p and horseshoe tournament the following day-3rd at 3p.

The City of SNP will hold a general election on Tuesday, October 6th in rec-hall for three 3-year term City Council seats. The polls

will be open from 8a to 8p. Declaration of Candidacy is open and persons interested in filing as candidates must file in person by

Monday the 21st (Sept). Forms are available Monday to Friday from 8a to 5p in the City Clerks Office. To be eligible, you must be

a US citizen, reside on island for one continuous year immediately preceding the election and a qualified voter of the City of SNP

at the time of his/her declaration of candidacy for public office.

The fur seal rookeries and haulouts are closed to human access until Thursday, October 15th. Questions, stop by ECO or call 615-5306.

Aleut Comm of SNP Healing & Wellness Dept – Elders Lunch Program: 

for Elders/Seniors ages 55/older Monday - Friday from 12p-2p at the café. Delivery service is limited to elders who are physically

unable to attend or those who are sick and in need of a meal. For more information on delivery, call Katia 615-5336. 

Elders Pick-up: Monday-Friday 12p-2p. Sr. Bus Run: M-W-F 2p-4p. Call Katia-4053.

Post Office Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. Closed Saturdays until further notice.

Store Hours: Monday-Saturday, 10am-7pm. Office Hours:10am-6pm. 

SPHC Hours: M-F 8am-12pm. 1pm-4pm. Services available: Primary Care, Behavioral Health and Radiology.

Healing and Wellness Dept: 

The food boxes are only for pick up unless you are physically unable to do so (limited to elders 60/up with a disability preventing one

from coming in). To request or pick up your food box, call 615-5330 or message 4174 M-F from 8a-12p. Requests called in after 12p

will be written down for the following day.

Bulk Sale Hours: Monday - Friday 5pm-7:30pm. Saturdays 3:30pm-5:30pm. 

Tavern Hours: Monday - Thursday 8pm-12am, Friday 8pm-2am, Saturday 10pm-2am. 

Jobline: Job Position: Laborer, Floating Dock Removal (Up to 10 positions)

Employment Type: Part-time, Temporary

Tentative project start date is September 28, weather permitting, and is

estimated to last up to one week

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain a safe jobsite.

Assist others to remove and store multiple floating dock sections.

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Must have knowledge of and follow workplace safety requirements.

Must have ability to work with others and follow directions of the Operations Supervisor.

Must be honest, trustworthy, and dependable.

Wage: $26.00/hour
